Privacy Policy — Széljegy

In short: Széljegy only stores what YOU write (comments, display name, timestamp) and the minimum data needed to operate. We do not track, profile, or sell data. The beta version does no visitor tracking at all.

1. Who is the data controller?

The operator of Széljegy (szeljegy.com). Contact: via the contact channel on szeljegy.com (contact details are on the website / in the extension).

2. What data do we process?

3. What we do NOT do

❌ No visitor tracking in beta (the consent gate arrives with the feature)
❌ No profiling, no "similar interests" analysis
❌ No ad tracking, no third-party data sharing
❌ No data selling — ever

4. How long do we keep data?

Comments: until you request deletion (then permanently removed)
IP logs: short retention (a few days max), for logging only
Google session: 30 days, then expires

5. Your rights

Access: ask us to show what we store about you
Deletion: request deletion of your comments and data (GDPR Art. 17)
Rectification, portability, objection: under the GDPR
We fulfil requests within 30 days

6. Data transfers

Comment moderation (spam, hate, personal-data filtering) is performed by an automated AI moderator running through OpenRouter (United States). This transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).

7. Liability

Comments reflect the authors' opinions, not Széljegy's position. The operator acts as an intermediary service provider: upon becoming aware of unlawful content, we act (hide/delete with notification to the author). The author is responsible for the content.
